A drawing session from life in several fields: the social
relationship (between the artist and the model), the picture
plane, and the space of sound. Anyone wishing to walk the red
carpet, stand on the podium, and remain in the artist’s attention
for as long as they deem necessary during one set (from a few
seconds to a dozen minutes). Piezo transducers are connected
to the tablet, so each line creates a visual and sound portrait.
Sound affects the perception of the model, the speed of drawing
and plasticity.
The end result is documentation in the form of a visual record
on the plane and a sound track. Thus, I move away from the
traditional form of «painting» into processuality and direct direct
impact on the viewer, who in turn becomes an active participant
in the creative process.
