The project explores the light as the physical phenomenon and
the spiritual cultural value.
Ongoing debates around the origin of the Shroud of Turin reflect
this semantic collision: to accept any phenomenon, to believe in
it we need to feel the imprint, the trace of material. Reminding
the phrase: “I won’t believe it until I see it with my own eyes”.
Exposure includes two groups of objects:
-transfered Inverted photos of the lying man to fabric using
analog printing technology, so I create a pseudo-imprint of the
presence of the depicted person.
-destroyed the resulting images, literally sorting them by thread.
